Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using SpeakBG (www.speakbg.com), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

SpeakBG is a Bulgarian language learning platform offering vocabulary training, exercises, games, AI conversation practice, and spaced repetition review. We provide both free and premium tiers.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • One account per person. Sharing accounts is not permitted.
  • We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Free and Premium tiers

  • Free tier: Core learning features, limited AI conversations (1 per day, 10 messages).
  • Premium tier: Unlimited AI conversations, all 21 scenarios, priority features.
  • Premium pricing: from €5/month. Prices may change with 30 days notice.

5. Payments and subscriptions

  • Payments are processed by Stripe. All prices are in EUR.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel anytime from Settings or your Stripe portal.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support within 14 days of purchase.
  • Lifetime plans are a one-time payment and do not renew.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose.
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
  • Abuse the AI conversation feature (hate speech, harmful content).
  • Use automated tools to scrape content or game the leaderboard.
  • Reverse-engineer or copy the service.

7. Content and intellectual property

All vocabulary content, exercises, game mechanics, and design are the intellectual property of SpeakBG. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without permission.

8. AI conversations

AI conversation practice is powered by third-party AI (Anthropic Claude). Conversations are not stored permanently. AI responses are generated for educational purposes and may occasionally contain errors. SpeakBG is not responsible for AI-generated content accuracy.

9. Limitation of liability

SpeakBG is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months prior.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
